§ 10-189. Payment of tax; notation.

Latest version.

The party offering for record an instrument in writing transferring title to real property, or an interest therein, in the County shall pay the tax imposed to the Director of Finance. Upon such payment, the Director shall enter a notation of the payment upon the instrument of writing conveying title.
