§ 16-243. Sanctions.

(a)

Any employee who alleges that any rights provided by this Division have been violated by an appointing authority or a person acting on behalf of the appointing authority may initiate a grievance.

(b)

Any employee who is found to have knowingly, willfully, or with reckless disregard violated provisions of this Division shall be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with applicable provisions of the Subtitle.

(c)

A supervisor who receives information that an employee under his/her supervision has allegedly violated the provisions of this Section shall review the allegations and promptly report the information along with any recommendations to the next level of supervision.
