§ 18-138. Training of police officers.

Each sworn police officer member of the Police Department shall receive training at a police training school approved and authorized by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission and as required by the County Executive and Chief of Police, prior to routine assignment in any capacity in which the officer may carry a gun or make an arrest.
