§ 18-190. Authority to send police and equipment beyond County limits.

(a)

Personnel of the police department, together with all necessary equipment, may lawfully go or be sent beyond the boundaries of Prince George's County to any point within or without the State of Maryland under the following circumstances:

(1)

Upon the direction of the Chief of Police or his designee acting at the request of the State of Maryland, another state or the District of Columbia, a county or a municipal corporation;

(2)

Pursuant to a mutual aid agreement; or

(3)

Pursuant to any statute of the State of Maryland, or ordinance of Prince George's County, or other lawful authority.
