§ 1-117. Interpretation of Section numbers.

In reading a Section number from left to right, the digit or digits to the left of the dash designate the Subtitle number. The digit or digits to the right of the dash designate the Section number within the Subtitle. Figures to the right of a decimal point indicate new Subtitles or Sections inserted between existing Subtitles or Sections. The decimal system shall be used to maintain the numerical order of this Code.
