§ 27A-506. Private Open Spaces.

(a)

At least one (1) tree per eight hundred (800) square feet of any at-grade required private open (unpaved) area shall be planted in the rear lot area and located no closer than five (5) feet to any Common Lot Line.

(b)

Trees shall be at least three inches in caliper at the time of planting. Species shall be selected from the Landscape Manual. Exceptions: Storefront and workshop sites, and sites that are reusing existing structures with no ground level open area are exempt from this requirement.
