§ 33-102. Authority.

(a)

The governing body of the County is authorized, by enacting a local law, to merge the:

(1)

Redevelopment Authority;

(2)

Revenue Authority; and

(3)

Any other unit of the County Government the purpose of which relates to economic development in the County.

(b)

An entity resulting from a merger under Subsection (a) of this Section shall have the same powers, duties, and limitations of the individual merging entitles as provided for under Subtitles 15B and 21A of the County Code, and any applicable Articles of Incorporation or County laws.
