§ 5-258.02. Enforcement of corrective orders.

  • Where the County Health Officer issues a corrective order, it shall contain a notice that if the County Health Officer determines that the person complained against has not, within the time specified in the order, corrected the violation and complied with the order, the County Health Officer will transmit the matter to the Office of Law for enforcement. If no appeal is pending before the County Council sitting as the Board of Health, the County Attorney is authorized to bring, in the name of the County, a body politic, any civil action necessary to enforce the orders of the County Health Officer.
