§ 1-111. Acts by deputy or designee.

Whenever a power is granted to or a duty is imposed upon a public officer of employee, the power may be exercised or the duty discharged by any authorized deputy or designee or by any person authorized pursuant to law or public local law, unless this Code expressly provides otherwise.
